Custom transfers are charged either on a half A4 sheet basis ($20.00) or for a full A4 sheet ($35.00). In addition there is a setup fee, which incurs a once only charge of $25 per job if any setup work is required. If any drawing is required then a charge of $44 ($40 excluding GST) per hour or part thereof will be charged.
Charging does not depend on the number of colours used in the transfer.
A minimum of $25 will be applied to all jobs if any setup work is required. Printing costs are separate.
There is no minimum run requirement. However all trial/test costs will be charged (eg; colour proofing, sizing, etc).
There is a charge of $44 per hour for producing artwork suitable for printing from customer supplied drawings, photographs, sketches, etc.
How much to print a transfer if I supply the file exactly as required to print? (in this case the customer has supplied the file in CoreDraw 11 - layered appropriately to print for the various colours).
Assuming that your files are totally ready to print and there is absolutely no work required other than to print them then the setup cost will waived. This is absolutely at the discretion of Brunel Models and no discussion of the decision will be entered into.
Does the cost go down if I order more then 1 item?
Transfers/decals are charged by the number of A4 sheets used regardless of the number of items. If there is substantial setup or drawing work required this will be charged above the $25 setup fee at $44 per hour. The main thing is to minimise costs by providing a vector graphic drawing or a high quality bit mapped file preferably in CorelDraw 9-X3 format.
Is the setup fee charged for reprints of transfers?
No. If you request transfers/decals that have already been setup and produced by Brunel Models then the setup fee does not apply.
Normally about 2 weeks. This assumes, however, that you artwork is OK and little or no extra effort is required for making it suitable for printing. If you supply a scanned drawing or a hard copy drawing then it will probably take longer (depending on the accuracy of the drawing and if a test print needs to be produced for your approval).
