Modelling Goo

Bob's Modelling Goo was reviewed in the June 2003 issue of the Australian Model Railway Magazine (page 48). The reviewer stated that "As a modelling medium it is ideal for making trees, providing a firm outer shell that remains flexible". He concluded "A very handy product for the modeller who is busy with layout construction and who has, of course, trees to make."

Modelling Goo is ideal for making trees and probably has many other uses yet to be tried. It is supplied in two plastic buckets - one containing a white powder and the other a white liquid. All that is required is to mix the two together in equal proportions and either dip your twisted wire tree trunk base into it or paint it on with a brush. The mix can be coloured by adding water based paint to it. Once mixed together the goo has a reasonably long shelve life provided it is kept in an air tight container. Of particular interest is that it is non-toxic.
