Tie/stretcher Bars
These are self-contained units, formed from 2 sections of brass wire,
held together in a PTFE tube. The brass wires are pre-formed to provide a soldering position
on the inside of the switch blades. Tie/stretcher bar blade fixings are brass castings which
can be soldered on to the side of the switch blades. A tie-bar with an insulated break can
then be soldered in place. The tie-bar can be constructed from a section of thin double-sided
copperclad board.
7mm Gauges
Gauges are of the roller type, and are designed to hold just the head of the rail.
